Providing Food, Water & Other Emergency Support Services to Disaster Victims
US-BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR DISASTER RELIEF
Disaster Assistance Corp will be a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization driven by a mission to be one of the first organizations at a disaster scene to deliver emergency support services in United States disaster-affected areas.
Based out of San Jose, California, we are an upcoming public benefit corporation supplying prepared or pre-packaged food and water to disaster victims. We want to work with and support, to the extent possible, all non-profit organizations in helping victims of a disaster.
FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE
For our first fundraising event, we have planned an event named ‘Walk Across America’ to raise funds for our emergency support services and introduce ourselves to a wider pool of first responders, veterans, and disaster relief organizations.
The fundraising initiative will involve multiple individuals carrying a US Flag across the United States, starting from the west coast and ending east. The event's objective is to honor the flag and pay tribute to first responders (Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical Staff) and veterans who are or have dedicated their lives to protecting the nation. The route is approximately 2,800 Miles. We are looking for veterans or first responders who would like to join us on this journey for a day, week, or the entire route. All persons are welcome to walk with us for any distance.
Support Our Venture
As a non-profit, we rely on generous donations and grants from individuals as well as other organizations to carry out our mission. We request you to come forward and lend a helping hand to reduce the pain and suffering of disaster victims.
All our members are former first responders, veterans or individuals who have served the public in a non-political function. Please note that we cannot support or promote political or social causes, legislation, and candidates.
